THE BEAUTY OF PASTEL

We want to showcase the beautiful medium of pastel and invite you to join us with your pastel paintings. The medium needs to be pastel (soft pastel), oil pastels are not accepted. You are welcome to submit greeting cards or notecards as long as the original was done in pastel. Entry dates: April 25 – 30; Reception date: May 3, 2026.

CREATURES WITH A CAUSE

This is an animal-themed benefit show with 20% of gallery sales during the month of June going to OPTIONS VETERINARY CARE. Options is a non-profit veterinary clinic that provides quality and affordable care to pets of low-income residents, senior citizens, and those facing financial barriers. We hope you will be inspired to create some animal-themed art or photography of domestic or wild animals, as we support this worthy organization. There are no media restrictions. You are welcome to submit greeting cards, notecards, jewelry, pottery, etc., as long as they are animal-themed. Since this is a benefit show the gallery takes a 40% commission on sales during the month.  Entry dates: May 24 – 31; Reception date: June 7, 2026.

The Art Of Words

This is a benefit exhibit with 20% of gallery sales going to the SPREAD THE WORD NEVADA literacy group during the month of August. This organization is the state’s largest literacy nonprofit, dedicated to advancing early childhood literacy by placing books in the hands and homes of children in Nevada’s low-income communities. For the 2nd year, we invite artists to create book-themed art. Such as art showing books, paintings inspired by a favorite book or book title, a portrait of a favorite author, or perhaps old or damaged books repurposed into sculpture or collage. We welcome your creativity and hope you will be inspired to participate in this exciting event. There are no media restrictions. Since this is a benefit show, the gallery takes a 40% commission on sales in August.  Entry dates – July 26 – 31. Reception date – August 2, 2026

LATIMER ART CLUB’S
19TH ANNUAL MINIATURE SHOW

We will once again host the Latimer Art Club’s Annual Miniature Art Exhibit. This juried and judged exhibit is open to all Nevada residents 18 years and older. See latimerartclub.com for more information. Reception date – October 4, 2026.

Christmas/Holiday Show

Our featured exhibit room will feature artwork and photography, along with Holiday crafts and décor. Our Christmas trees will be up to hang your homemade ornaments. We like to see our artists get creative and potentially make a little extra income during the holidays. Entry dates – November 8 – 13, Reception dates – November 15^th and December 13^th.

Nevada Artists and Craftsmen will present the best holiday gift ideas, including handmade ornaments. A 10% discount on purchases is our way of showing appreciation for your patronage throughout the year.
