About the Artist
I started my artistic career in 1962. I went to work for the Riverside Press – Enterprise in Riverside, California as a staff artist. I worked for newspapers and advertising agencies until I moved to Nevada in 1974.
My passion has always been the West, especially horses. I have traveled all over the West, mostly on horseback. I work from my own reference material, my own photos or personal experience. I draw with graphite, ink, and colored pencil. I paint with acrylic, oil, and watercolor.
I recently built a 700-square-foot studio and gallery on my house in Washoe Valley.
