Nevada Artists’ Co-0p Gallery
The Nevada Artists’ Co-0p Gallery is proud to be a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit.
Our Mission Statement
The Artists’ Co-operative of Reno has been in existence since 1966 when it was incorporated in the sGiving Back through Our 501(c)(3)Contributing to the Community through Our 501(c)(3) Organization of Nevada by a group of artists working in the city of Reno. In 2019, we applied for and were granted 501c3 status under “Nevada Artists’ Co-0p Gallery.” The artists have changed over the years, but the concept and location of the gallery have remained the same. Our mission is to support the visual arts in Reno and surrounding areas. Nevada Artists’ Co-0p Gallery is well recognized in the community as a venue for over 400 local artists to show and sell their work. We contribute to the community through fundraisers for several local non-profits each year, Giving a portion of our commission to benefit the organizations. Among those we have helped are Nevada Veterans, SPCA, Wild Horses Organization, Rock Art Association, the Canine Rehabilitation Center, Sons and Daughters of Italy, Reno, and the Animal Ark, and operating a mentor program for emerging artists. (add link to mentor page) Our donations have exceeded $400,000 over the years. We also support other art organizations in Reno, such as the Sierra Watercolor Society and The Latimer Club.
